House Rules

This program requires a 6 - 12 month commitment

Absolutely no alcohol, drugs, weapons, paraphenalia, or advertisement of such things are permitted on the property. No selling or trading of prescription drugs, personal property, or your body. No verbal threats or loud unspiritual language will be accepted. ZERO tolerance to this rule. A violation of this rule may mean you will be eliminated from the program
No smoking permitted in the house, the deck out back is designated smoking area. Please discard all cigarette butts in provided containers, do not throw off of deck.
Management must know about all prescription or OTC medications. You will fill a weekly pill case with your meds. The remainder will be put in a safe for the safety of all residents. All residents will be randomly drug tested and/or search of person, personla property, room, or vehicle.
For the first (14) fourteen days of residency: pre-approval is nessecary to leave the house and you must be with someone in the house, management, assigned case worker, or sponsor. For those returning to R2R, the above will be (30) thirty days. NO signifigant others until at least (60) sixty days. No men are allowed in the house except repairmen. You will be advised if a man is supposed to enter the house. Dates are to pick you up at the door, walk you to the door, no hanging out on the porch or in cars.

For your protection, signing out and in is required whenever you leave the house with a destination and a contact number. (This is critcally important!)
Rise and shine with beds made by 8:00 a.m. Curfew is at 11:00 p.m. No sleeping in the living room. There is a chore list in the litchen, a washing schedule above the washer, both assigned by room numbers. Initial upon completion of your chores and don't leave clothes in washer or dryer. No washing before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.
All residents must attend (6) six 12-Step meeting and mandatory Sunday night house meeting for the first (90) ninety days. "90 meetings in 90 days" are strongly recommended by all 12-Step groups. After first (90) ninety days of residency, you may attend (4) four 12-Step meetings and the Sunday night house meeting.
No overnight guests. Family visitation is permitted twice weekly with scheduled approval. Scheduling shows courtesy to all residents. Two adults and your children are welcome in the common living areas. For (2) two hours Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Upon arrival you must have means to pay your rent for (30) thirty days. Therin those (30) thirty days, you must acquire proper ID, driver's license and food stamps if applicable, gainful employment, and/or IOP and you rent requirements are now established. By (30) thirty days you must have chosen a Home Group, a sponsor, and be actively working the steps.
You may hand in a written request for a leave of absence after (30) thirty days at least (72) seventy-two hours prior to departure. This is to establish following through with a plan. Destination and contact numbers are absolutely nessecary. Leaves will be given in (24) twenty-four hour increments gradually as earned. No one will receive a leave (2) two weeks in a row.
Open door policy: Leave your bedroom unlocked while you are in the room. Do not enter another bedroom. This will keep down confusion and keep personal property from disappearing.
(15) Fifteen minute limit on the phone at a time, and no calls between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
(30) Thirty minute limit in the bathroom - other ladies are waiting. NOTHING BUT TISSUE IN THE TOILET!!! Clean bathroom after each use as it was cleaned for you.
Eat only the food you purchase or contribute towards. Clean the kitchen after each use - we're all supposed to be adult women.
If the utility bill goes above $350, tenants will share athe balance of the overage - So be cautious to turn off lights, heaters, and air conditioners when leaving your bedroom.
Be mindful of others, keep noise to a minimum and remember your personal hygiene ladies. No physical contact or unspiritual language will be accepted.
Return to Reality will not be responsible for the loss or theft of residents' personal property or money, we have a safe. Contact management immediately if a problem occurs.
Any resident, who has knowledge of another resident violating any rule that may be harmful to herself or others health or recovery and does not report the violation to management, may receive similar consequences as the violator themselves. This is to keep our home a safe enviroment for all residents.

It is a privilege to live in this home. If you break a rule you will receive a write-up. At your third write-up, your P.O. will be notified if you have one; if not, you may be asked to pack up and leave within 2 hours.
